New painting and Illustration book give away!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I have a great book to give to one of you followers but first

I am back painting my little girls
not in their usual way I have to say
I do like variation for inspiration so this time I dabbled in.....

Yes watercolour!
I have all the gear but no experience yet working with this medium. Ha no fear!
My motto'' try something new every day with an inner smile''  life will be exciting and colourful to say the least

 I know
you can't exactly call it a piece of fine art but I am happy with her.
A lick or two of gesso helped to sort out where I had been a little heavy handed.
I don't care about the mess and mistakes!

Prints of my Waterbabes are available for sale in my shop click here.
The proceeds will go to helping me helping children overcome trauma.
SoldThank you!

Well
Speaking of mistakes, I ordered the book Illustrations 2011 annual twice by mistake.
Two in my basket, who did that? I wished I could  blame the kids.

Anyway
now I have an extra copy and I am going to make one of you gorgeous followers a very happy bunny!!!
All you need to do is sit tight until Friday the 4th of November this is when I will draw one of you out of my pool of followers.
Not a follower yet even more reason to become a follower. Come and join us now! I don't mind you shouting it out that is what friendship is all about!
Thanks peeps.

The little girl painting is shared in.

I'm not a follower, because I don't use that system (I follow blogs in reader), so I'm not writing about the giveaway. I just wanted to comment that the girl is very interesting and makes me want to look at her. I've been recently playing with watercolors too... It's always good to learn something new.

What beautiful results from your experimentation with watercolor! I'd love to win the book and am following you by email, but the Google Friend Connect link seems to be missing (I've visited twice today hoping it would reappear!). Can I still win?

Oh, I so love this girl in watercolors, for not doing them much, it turned out perfect!

This weeks little girl is cute. The painting mainly focuses on the girl, leaving the background relatively plain.

What a fabulous prize! So nice of you to share your "mistake". I love your work and can't believe I wasn't already a follower since I've been hopping by for the blog hops. I always appreciate your super wonderful comments on my blog, they really make my day!

Art friend! I am already following which is why I am here now tossing my name into the hat for this lovely giveaway! I think your style is loose and charming. Your line is so fluid and strong and then the watercolor just adds to the fluidity. Just wonderful indeed!!! Okay, so this book looks so grand I am crossing my fingers here in my corner of the world! *smiles* Norma
