What can you do with one very old paint brush?

Iam in the process of creating a journal

The face is painted on the front cover of a 78album covered with cards and envelopes
Both sides of the sleeves inside will be covered with
300grm watercolour paper

The background is covered in watered down gesso
which was rubbed over with acrylic umber.

The face is painted with Matte medium, gesso, golden fluid acrylics
heavy golden acrylics  and one very, very old used
paint

My paintings are shared in

Beautiful- when you are done, you should attach the brush to it and let it be part of your art :)
Happy PPF (a day late ;))

You.Are.Awesome! I'm so happy to "Find" you again - I just admired a piece of yours that was won in a giveaway (I think it was Lisa) and I am SO in love with the color, movement and sense of freedom your pieces have - it's what I am currently trying to do more of. This piece is just stunning - all your detail and shading is so impressive.
I'm gonna put you on my sidebar so I don't miss out on any more of your beautiful art, xoxo

Welcome to Paint Party Friday! It's great to have you join us!

This is a fabulous piece - is it a page of the journal or the cover? I love the dancing figure on her forehead - Wow!

Manon, can I ask you a favour please - can you link directly to the page for PPF rather than to your blog home page? For late arrivals (like the very late me) it is confusing as to what you want to share. Thanks! (Your Tuesday piece is wonderful too - great colours!)
