The Empress' new clothes

Yesterday I promised to tell you more about how I may achieve drawing Lottie in a more 3D way.

Simple I needed a Lottie model....so I set to work

I worked hard all weekend sculpting her out of paper clay. Lottie is a little girl who came from my imagination so it wasn't easy trying to make a doll from just my drawings. I am not one to give up easily and truly believe nothing is impossible.

So finally today here is Lottie ready to face the world. There are some minor adjustments in the painting department and oh yes..of course she needs some new clothes. I think ''the Empress' new clothes belief'' is not going to last long with Lottie. Maybe she isn't as pottie as I may like to think.

Anyway for the moment she is still happy sitting on my shelf in my studio so
before she realises I am off to get some wool to knit her a Lottie hat.
I ll be back soon!

Wow...what talent it takes to sculpt a doll that looks just like your drawing creations...I would know the artist if I saw her somewhere else. Well done! I am so impressed!
