29 Faces number 5

I am back on track with the 29Face Challenge.
Number five is a watercolour of Lottie Popjes.
I am not sure if I am going to like working with this medium.
I am too messy and heavy handed maybe
but then the point for this exercise is for me to try out this medium.
Maybe at the end I will have my own style
Ooooh that would be sooooo nice!
I need some brighter colours
any sugestions on some good neon watercolours?

she is so beautiful and it has abeen great challenge to just play and experiment....inktense blocks are supposed to be very vibrant and ive just bought peerless watercolors one for their vibrancy but havent used them yet as i need to mount them on something....

when I want watercolors to pop I use Tombow watersoluble pens..

I just love how whimsical and dreamy your creations are. As for watercolors ... I don't know! they intimidate me. even using the watersoluble crayons makes me nervous.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the encouragement.

I can see your own style emerging already!

I've heard "good" things about Inktense, though I've not used them. Since I'm on the hunt for some vibrant watercolors (too), I'm paying attention!

So … Inktense, Peerless … and Tombow pens. Hmm.

Hi Manon, I like her face...I always found watercolours very tricky...hated them for years...now I'm loving them.. I've got an Opera Rose Windsor and Newton that is really bright...it's the colour I used in my Nightime post.... :) it's brighter in real life... hope this helps...

Ps...Peerless are fantastic... look at the Institute of Cute...http://instituteofcute.com/
Jane's got them in her shop... they take awhile to come from Oz...but well worth the wait..

Inktense look fab too..they are next of my list of supplies.. :)... Amazon for those.. :)
