Just messing about.

Last night I was staring at my sketchbook, not having much inspiration I picked up an art reference book. I flicked through it and came across a sour looking female I didn't pay much attention to who or what she was, I just fancied doing something with her. She needed to cheer up.

Even with the popjes look and the nose she still looks peeved off. Was she trying to tell me something? I needed to know so I set to work, I listened to what feelings she brought up in me and altered my sketch in photo shop.
Can you hear what she is saying?

I am blowing hot and cold over him.

When I woke up this morning I needed to know a bit more about Picasso's Woman with a Chignon. You know I was completely flabbergasted when I read that this lady was probably a bored prostitute in Montmartre.
No wonder she was blowing hot and cold over him.

I hope I cheered her up.

Wow! The color change is powerful! What a neat makeover on her, and I kind of like her grouchiness. ;)

I would think she'd be happy to be paid for doing something other than her usual gig :)

Red noses always remind me of you, now ;)
