Help needed and give away

You know some days I just get so frustrated with myself. I have spend a big part of today transferring my drawings onto fabric. I hate sending out shabby stuff so I always make sure the transfers wash nicely. Well I am tearing my hair out at the moment my sweet Lottie looks slightly wrinkled. All that work for nothing. Does anybody know of good transfer paper? I just don't want to buy a heat press just yet. This Little t'shirt, although washed, is up for grabs it will fit a 2/3year old. Just email me or leave a comment and I will draw a name out of the hat next friday.

I didn't know there was another kind of tranfer than heat setting. Will share your post (even though I want it for my 2 year old neice):D XXX

Best bet is going to be heat transfer. This company has good quality at a good price.... but I've used the ones from wally world and craft stores with good success too. Any gel transfer to fabric runs the risk of being spotty. You can embrace that or go with heat.

OR you can do the silk screens. those rigs are in inexpensive these days and you can use your original work on the screens.

Best of luck.. and if you draw my name, pick someone else. I don't know anyone in that age range to give the shirt to. Adorable as it is, it should be enjoyed and loved.

It looks pretty good from the photo... sure you aren't being too harsh... as to heat transfers... I have only used one brand and it is an Australian one, but it worked a treat... just got it from the office supply store... the bloke there advised me to stay away from craft store ones, as they would be patchy... the Ausink ones worked a treat.... hope you find a good brand... these are too cute... my little niece Gracey would love Lottie

I just bought some transfer paper recommended by a clothing designer. I haven't used it yet, but will let you know when I do.

This shirt is really cute!

I am just saying hello, and how pretty the T-shirt looks. I do not have any little one of that age so I'll pass the giveaway, but it looks fine to me from the photo. I hope you find one that you like best! Hugs

never used transfer paper, I have printable woven sheets that you iron on afterwards, or maybe think to get some screens for screenprinting rather ?

Hi Manon, I've used all sorts of iron on transfer paper. I've found that I get the best results when I use a smooth floor or wall tile under the fabric when I iron. Hope this helps. :)

Oh my, that's annoying.... Although it looks good to me! There's a lot of quality difference in transferpaper, I've used different brands with different results. Hope you'll find a solution! Btw I don't know anyone in that age-group so I'll skip the give-away....

How cute! Any girl would LOVE your tee...

You know, I don't go too well with transfer papers. So I prefer to hand paint the tee myself. :)

I think the shirt looks adorable, but I know you are the expert. Hope you figure it out.

No toddlers here so no need to include me in the drawing.

Have a great weekend! xo
