Paper Saturdays link up, Altered box

Welcome to Paper Saturdays, our weekly paper art challenge. Please share your art. There is a link at the bottom of this post. We like to see what you have created this week. All art on paper is welcome, this includes art with paper in it, on it or mixed with it

My contribution for this week is a recycled box. I am one of those people that saves just about anything and everything. You never know it may come in handy one day. Today was one of those daysCan you fellow artists relate to my hoarding behaviour?

Supplies

I sanded the top of the box slightly for the gesso to adhere. After two layers I painted a little Lottie face. Now she is finished I am unsure what I am going to do with the box, shall I hoard her a little longer?

Today's featured artist is Cathy Angleraud a french graphic designer she makes some wonderful paper cut out boxes. Maybe I should try this myself one day, it just looks very complicated.

Now it is time for you to enter your art. Older posts are accepted. It would be really helpful if you link your relevant blog post back to Paper Saturdays then folk know where to find us. You are free to use the button. Happy Saturday I can't wait to see what you have created this week!

Liefs, Melanie

That was the perfect box with it's striped body to compliment your beautiful painting. Those little braids are precious, and I love her complexion color against those blue eyes. Blessings!

Wow! I love how you made this paper box so much more fun! I think it would be great to use as a gift box, putting a tiny gift in it and giving it as a very special gift!

I love the cut paper boxes. Yes, they look complicated, but so awesome. Maybe, I'll try one.

Pretty box! Yes definitely hoard a bit longer. You can put little things in there, like paper clothes for Lottie, maybe?

The box turned out like Lottie! So precious :-)
And I do relate to the hording! I can use everything (almost).

Have a wonderful week, dear Manon! Now I need to sleep, before I fall off my chair ;-)
