Sometimes it is wonderful to swap the colour pencils for crochet needles. The sun was shinning bright today, there was a slight breeze but it was warm enough to sit in a sheltered spot in the garden between the pots of fresh thyme and blooming lavender.
I am a bit rusty with the old crochet needle and once I was sat down I was too lazy to get up for a pattern. So my intentionally perfect circle turned into a not so perfectly circle. Now hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow so I can redo the whole thing. If you want to know how to make a perfect circle you can find some tips here. The site is in Dutch but there is a translate button at the top. It may safe you from having to get up once sat down.

Leuk dat je nu aan de haak bent.
Je hebt in elk geval vrolijke kleutjes gebruikt.
Liefs, Melanie
Hahahahaa! You are too funny, Manon! I love your quirky-not-perfect crochet circle. It is so fun & colorful!
love your bright cheery wools.......while I can master chain stitch the rest is a bit beyond me but im going to learn this year..:)
I feel the same way about using yarn to 'draw' with! I get my colour fix in all kinds of ways and have a few colourful blankets to prove it! Your circle is gorgeous, I love those bright and cheerful colours!xx
I was just looking at a pile of pretty yarn in my closet today saying to myself how I need to get to it. For me, crocheting is more of a winter thing, but sometimes that mood just strikes. And I have never been able to crochet a perfect circle and I don't think the Dutch website can help me. Even if there is a translation button.
It's nice to be here Manon. There is always fun to be had on your blog.
