Paper Saturdays, link up time.

Time has flown by this week, too much of the enjoyment and not enough of the old work. By the skin of our teeth Lottie and I drew at high speed two dolls for Paper Saturdays. They are so to say hot from the press. You may recognise both girls....well we hope you do?

So what is Paper Artwork?
Sketches, drawings, paintings and collages on paper are all fine. Yes entries in your art journal are great too. Paper dolls, paper houses, paper illustrations, paper jewellery, paper cards, painted paper boxes, you with a paper knickers on, paper clay, papermache are all allowed. Do what you like, just have fun.

For this week's feature I would like you to meet Norma V Toraya. She is a very talented Paper Puppet maker and she has written a wonderful book in which she shows how to make basic styles of movable puppets.

So now it is time again for you to enter your paper art. Please link your post back to paper Saturdays. You may use my button in order to do that.

Your paperdolls are so cool! Years ago my older son (he's 16 now) drew a couple of LONG skinny cartoon guys that we cut out and put together with brads. Every once in a blue moon they resurface and it always makes me smile!

I also love Crankbunny! She is awesome. I actually did an interview with her on my blog here:

I bought her book too and really love it!

Hoi Manon,
Liefs, Melanie
