Paper Saturdays link up time, recycled glass jars.

Hello to another week of Paper Saturday. I hope you are ready to link up your gorgeous paper art again. We love to see what you have in store for us. Each week we feel more and more inspired by you. I hope you will play, just scroll down to add your art and we will be round.

What we did
I don't know about you but we have a real soft spot for candles here in Lottie's studio. We like the scented ones they can be so relaxing and get you in that creative mood. Our studio is relatively new and we don't have that many candle holders yet. Ha lucky us, lets go wild.

So I guess Paper Saturdays was the ideal opportunity for us to create some new candle holders from recycled glass jars. When you look out there, there are so many ideas to what you can do with glass jars, I guess you would definitely need to consume a lot more food.

 Supplies

Randi from Fargefest created the candle holders bellow with paper napkins from IKEA. If you click on the image it will take you to the original blogpost. I like her blog but I just wished it didn't take me to advertisements when clicking on older posts. You are warned :)

If you fancy other recycling stuff to do with glass jars we can really  recommend the book "DIY Mason Jars" by Melissa Averinos which is available on Amazon.

Now it is over to you please link your

Sketches, drawings, paintings, collages, entries in your art journal, paper dolls, paper houses, paper illustrations, paper jewellery, paper cards, painted paper boxes, you with a paper nose, paper clay, papermache etc.

Please link your blogpost to Paper Saturdays so more people are able to find us. You can play all week before a fresh linky is up next Saturday. Feel free to use the button. See you soon!

That's a nice unusual way to use up glass jars. Lottie's is bright and colourful enough to light up a room even without a candle. I love the beads around the rim.

Liefs, Melanie

I love what you did with your glass jars for candle holders! What fun! The rhinestones around the opening is awesome! And Lottie looks so cute adorning the jar!

Hi Manon,
Love those jars. I'm going to make some for our bbq evenings, that's if it ever stops raining long enough to eat outside this summer... :) x

My first time to your blog.. and I love it! So much inspiration, and Paper Saturdays too! I've done decoupage jars before, but it is really your image and it's colors that caught my eye. Are you sharing this image for the project? I just want to be sure, before I go assuming so. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I look forward to visiting here again! ~tina (aka beansie)
