Paper Saturdays, miniature dolls in match boxes

Happy Paper Saturdays to you! Come and link your Paper Art with us. We welcome all art with some sort of paper consistency, this includes sketches, drawings, things made from paper clay etc just let your imagination go wild that is all that matters.

Paper Saturdays is about getting to know other artists who work with paper. Feel free to join us whenever you like. Each Saturday I am back with a new post and a fresh mr linky so you can link your art all week long.

If you follow my face book page you may have noticed my new miniature dolls. They measure about 14cm and are based on my illustrations. I had a lot of fun creating these little darlings. There is something very satisfying about a drawing coming alive.

Now to keep these ladies out of trouble I had to make them some paper play boxes. It sounds a bit cruel keeping them all boxed up but if I don't they would only get into mischief. They don't seem to mind being enclosed at least they can still chatter to each other through their little windows.
Will be available in my Etsy shop shortly.

I know what you mean about having your drawing come to life. They seem so real. And I really love their paper play boxes. Maybe, it's like playing house in them. So cute!

Ze zijn echt ontzettend leuk die mini poppetjes in een lucifersdoosje. Zo knap dat je zulke kleine poppetjes kan maken. Een heel fijn weekend .
Liefs, Melanie

You have so many ways of bringing Lottie and her friends to life and your little dolls are wonderful, with their moveable limbs. The way the doll is sitting on her box is so naturalistic. I am sure these will be very popular.
It's always lovely to visit and see the 'something new' you always have to show us. Thank you for an enjoyable visit.
