Paper Saturdays, time to link up your art.

Life is still a little hectic here. Lots of moving of things and people are again much at the fore front of my daily routine this week. Nevertheless it is all good fun and it may last a little while longer. Enough of that and lets get into Paper Saturdays. Are you ready to link up the art that you have created this week?

I had a commission for one of those cute wooden brushes I have in my Etsy shop. I couldn't find a paper with the right colour combination that was asked for so I used a plain tissue paper and hand painted the butterflies. I really enjoyed making the time to paint in between the chaos of the day I think I should make time for it each day as it has a meditating sort of effect on me. Tell me do you make time for you?

If you would like to take part in Paper Saturdays this week please
  • Link a relevant post with your art in the mr linky below

Your brushes are precious, Manon. I'm sorry to hear the remodeling chaos is still going on in your home, but glad you are making time for yourself in the midst of it. As an artist, I know it is absolutely necessary to do so in order for us to keep our sanity.

Love Love Love these brushes. What a great point you bring up about time. All I am IS conscious of time, but not time for me and my heart (ART). At least not lately. I haven't uploaded anything new in my Etsy shop and todays post is the first since May? I feel so much better when I can play and create. Today I am taking time for my heart and plan on creating up a storm!! Don't worry, things will settle down for you before you know it, keep us posted.

Oh that brush is so sweet! It's funny how the act of just doodling something helps sometimes when I'm stressed. I hope you get more time for art soon!

Wat een leuk project heb je weer bedacht. De borstels zijn erg mooi geworden. Nog een hele fijne zaterdag avond. Wij gaan straks voetbal kijken.... En nu maar hopen dat ze gaan winnen.
Liefs, Melanie

That is an adorable brush. Hmmm I think I remember getting a spanking with a brush similar to that when I was a bad kid.

I tried to comment earlier but think I must have closed the box before I submitted it! Doh!

I love the idea of having a piece of art on something you use every day, I'm sure this hair brush will become a treasured keepsake for its new owner! Happy Paper Saturday (Sunday!)! x
