Just a little update.

Thank you all so much for your help with
the painting bellow

which I have to say is still in progress but is coming along very nicely. I am feeling very happy with how it is all turning out.

I will let you in on what the painting is about
my two middle children have left for University and I am missing them terribly!
Blowing my little sail boats away from our safe port is very, very tough!

So thank you for your support!

I was totally overjoyed when Carlanda contacted me, to buy a print.
Gosh it is not even finished.
Maybe it is a good time to leave it well alone and start selling?

Manon, I love this piece!! That is so cool that Carlanda wants a print. Its great! Love the colors, the texture and the sweet story behind it. Thanks for sharing that with us.

I think you will know when its finished. You'll just feel it.

Hi Manon, I'm experiencing the same thing as my youngest son has just left for uni a week ago. I'm dealing with it by decorating his old bedroom for his younger sister but I miss him so much! Your paintnig is gorgeous, I'm a new visitor here and I'm loving every minute!

It looks like they have a good strong wind in their sails - that's all a mother can do!

Love it and especially love the story behind it. It touched my heart,my daughter maybe leaving to move away(her husband got a better job) and her and my grandkids are leaving, well lets just say I'm having a hard time letting her go. Thats the hardest part about being a mom,is letting go!
