Free Pattern for Christmas Decorations
If you are like me and are nowhere near ready for the fast approaching event everybody is talking about I have something for you. Something you may still really enjoy if you have not decorated that tree yet. It is a free pattern for some felt Christmas decorations, a Christmas Pud and a little Robin. This is my Christmas present to you. I hope you enjoy them! Scroll down to to the end of this post were you can download the pattern. The other decorations are availble in my etsy shop.
You can download the above pattern here.
For both the Pud and the Robbin you will need some felt in the colours white, green, red, light brown and dark brown. Some white embroidery yarn, polyester filling some black seed beads for the Robbin's eyes and some metal wire for the feet. You will need some ribbon and maybe a button to make a hanger for the decoration to hang. The decorations are all sewn together with a blanket stitch and the embellishment are sewn on with a running stitch. I have used a disappearing marker pen to draw the pattern on the felt and cut the pieces with no seam allowance. If you have any difficulties please email me, you can find my email address at the top on the right. Feel free to do with the decorations whatever you want, display them sell them but please don't sell the pattern, it is for personal use only. You can display the pattern on your blog just make sure it links back to my blog and I will be eternally grateful to you.
Happy creating!

29 Face Challenge number three
Oh no I have already fallen behind with the 29Face Challenge. I hope this is not the first sign of me breaking the Challenge like I have with so many others. I am still extremely tired and then I also had visitors last night. It was impossible to paint so there you go a good excuse! I managed this watercolour in 20 minutes so I may squeeze another one in tonight.
Working with water colours is definitely not my strong point but I am willing to learn. So my objective for this challenge is to learn more about myself working with watercolours. I don't know why but it makes me laugh! All help is welcome so if you have any tips push them my way!

Lottie's new hat.
There has been little room for art this week but in between my duties I managed to sneak in some crochet. What do you think about the little hat for Lottie does it suit her? I may get some time to delve into my fabrics and put my dressmaking head on to make Lottie a little sundress at the weekend as the weather here in the UK is great, almost nice enough to sit out in it.
I am also desperate to finish of the sketch bellow, I just started it a couple of hours ago but I am having to go back into work. I am hoping I can finish it later tonight. I am using my favourite medium, inktense pencils

Just a little update.
the painting bellow
which I have to say is still in progress but is coming along very nicely. I am feeling very happy with how it is all turning out.
I will let you in on what the painting is about
my two middle children have left for University and I am missing them terribly!
Blowing my little sail boats away from our safe port is very, very tough!
So thank you for your support!
I was totally overjoyed when Carlanda contacted me, to buy a print.
Gosh it is not even finished.
Maybe it is a good time to leave it well alone and start selling?
