Little helper in my new studio

Lottie finished sewing her Teddy and got a bit bored.
She wanted to help me decorate the new studio.
All I can say is that I am happy she likes to paint with water.

Love your girl with her expression - a bit defiant perhaps?

When I was a little girl, I read a book called, Lotta of Troublemaker Street. Your pipsqueak lil girl reminded me of this from so long ago...! I do adore your sweet girls.

so cute!

when i was maybe 4 years old.... i found paint in the garage and got into it. I don't remember what i painted, maybe a box, maybe the garage wall. my mom called me into the house and i hid my hands behind my back because there was paint on them. She asked what i had back there? "nothing". then she looked, she was not pleased at all. She said she was mostly mad because i lied to her.... so later i went to the garage and painted some more. When i went into the house I said "mommy, i have been painting, look" and held out my hands for her to see. I thought it was ok because i was not lying. Wrong, i still got in trouble. Grown ups can be so confusing ;-)
