Kissing frogs, face number 7

I am still working with pastels but it feels like I am kissing a frog right now. I hit a block with this medium and not sure where to go with it next. I cheated a little not showing you the real pastel drawing instead an altered one. I am going to stick with this medium like they say you don't get to your prince until you have kissed many frogs. I wonder what the pastels will bring me tomorrow. I am hoping for a real prince.

I started looking into the pastel pencils after you posted about them. They're pricey though! I want to play with them, but I wonder how they work for complete pieces (not quite as sturdy and ship-able as paint, even fixed! eek!)

Leuke weer. Volgens mij hadden we de zelfde ingeving voor vandaag. Mijn gezicht is ook koninklijk...
Liefs, Melanie

The Princes will be queuing up at the door - never fear!

Love that Frog Me hat, like a Blackpool Kiss Me Quick hat. Cute little face, and great colours. You have great dedication struggling on with pastels. Just getting dusty fingers put me off them, so congrats for the lovely images you produce.

Oh Manon... I am loving your gorgeous faces created with pastels... it is a medium I have not used much of... I have fallen in love with face 4... Lottie is absolutely radiant... her face glows... stunning...
