More fashion :)

I loved all the comments on my previous post. I had been wondering if I will keep up with fashion as I am going to grow older and after some more thinking I guess I will.  I am an artist, I love colour and I love clothes but rather than following it exactly I think I will just pick and choose a lot more.
For now I am still at a stage where you just worry about  does my bum look big in this but soon I will be approaching the age where you may start to think hmmmm can I still wear this or is it too young for me. But then is that maybe just what society expects us to think or do?

This gorgeous lady bellow at the age of 90ish has some wonderful ideas about fashion. You know I think I totally agree with her. I think I will become less bothered about fashion and more about style. I think the same about my drawings. Watch this video because this lady is a wonderful inspiration!Let me know what you think :)

I like your spotty dresses and agree that style, is most important.

Die dame heeft helemaal gelijk. Wie bepaald wat mooi en niet mooi is. Iedereen is anders, dus iedreen heeft een andere smaak.
Je tekeningen zijn weer super.

I absolutely love your old dear, thank you for giving us that great painting. Here's to you and your fashions as you 'mature'.
When we had snow i was worried about slipping and breaking a hip, so I bought a pair of boots just like bikers boots with chains and huge soles. Got a few 'looks' but perhaps they were envy!
If you don't already know the poem about 'when I grow old I shall wear purple, do go to http://www.wheniamanoldwoman.com/pages/348544/index.htm and enjoy it.
Thank you for your beautiful comments on my blog. XXX

I love her green nail polish! Funny, I just dreamed I was shopping and kept pulling out one hugely colorful floral piece after another .... Never too old to be colorful! Awesome art!

I love that woman - she is so cool. I want to be like her when I am 90.

Agree with Jez - you must read the poem 'when I am old, I shall wear purple'. I love it.

Great art my dear - you wear what you like and be proud too :)

I love your painting of the older woman, she has attitude and style!! I think style is more important than fashion, but fashion is supposed to help you cultivate style.
