Paper Saturdays Link up time

The party keeps growing here at Paper Saturdays and we are loving all the wonderful Paper art you are creating. You can link up at the bottom of this post. There is no rush you can play all week long also feel free linking older posts related to Paper art

so what is paper artwork.

Sketches, drawings, paintings and collages on paper are all fine. Yes entries in your art journal are great too. Paper dolls, paper houses, paper illustrations, paper jewellery, paper cards, painted paper boxes, you with a paper dress on, paper clay, papermache are all fantastic. Just go for it.

My own contribution for Paper Saturdays this week is some good old toilet roll craft. Didn't you love making things out of this disregarded piece of card? Well I did and I still do. I just read it is very fashionable to pick up some of the old ways of creating. So there you go I am a trendy chick after all. I am in love with making these cute paper creatures and bring them alive.

Supplies
Wouldn't it be fun if you joined me and made something out of a  toilet roll too. You could always share that with us next week or if you fancy something a bit more adventurous and intricate then please go and visit Artist Yuken Teruya for some inspiration. I am not sure if I have the patience to try out this fabulous art form but I sure love looking at what could be done. I bet Yuken has really small fingers.

So now it is over to you, please let others know you are playing too so we can grow together. You may use any of my buttons (more on the sidebar) or link back to this post. We all love comments so don't be afraid to leave some kind words for the other participants and I will see you soon :)

I agree. Those toilet paper roll trees are so beautiful. I love your cute characters too, Manon! What fun to come up with something done with toilet paper rolls. Here is a link to more ideas for toilet paper rolls on my friends eco craft blog:

Your toilet paper dolls brought a smile to my face, and that is a good thing. I love Japanese paper artists' work, because it's always so ascetically pleasing. By the way, I had my 2nd grade students use them to make their state trees, and they came out gorgeous. I may just take you up on your challenge to do something with a toilet paper roll over the weekend. Blessings!
