Welcome to Paper Saturdays

It is wonderful to see you here at Paper Saturdays and we hope you will share your paper art with us today. There is a linky at the bottom of this post where you can link your art.

Some of you asked if it is OK to include paintings and drawings, well of course you can as long as there is some paper involved somewhere.

I was going to do an update on Lottie's studio today however after the above question I thought it might be more fitting to show you what can be done with your drawings. I am in love with 3D illustrations so I absolutely adore this process.

It so wonderfully easy to make your drawings alive by cutting out your illustration with a sharp craft knife. All you need to do is neatly cut around  what you would like to stand up just leave the bottom bit attached to the paper.

Face 54

Then turn your drawing and fold over just bellow the feet, stand her up and voila alive is your illustration. Go on give it a go and show us what you have done!
Lottie just left the studio out of pure embarrassment you may practise on Lottie bellow just save the image to your PC and print her out on card stock:0

Another artist who has paper art and 3D illustrations down to a fine T is Catherine Constance. I can really recommend paying her blog a visit. She really knows what girl power is. I love her little girls and I can't wait to see what she is creating for us today!

Now it is over to you! Please leave your name and relevant paper art post bellow and link back your post to this post so we know you are playing. You can grab the red polka dot button on my side bar to let others know you are participating.

I love paper dolls! I used to play with them and dressing them up. I'll see if I can find the time to make one to join your party. Thank you for the idea.

Lottie in 3D is so much fun! I am hoping to find time to make something totally paper based this week, I was finishing off a blog party this week and since I used paper to create my piece linked up. I hope that is okay.

I love how bright and happy your creations and Constances are, they make me happy!

Thanks for sharing

Perhaps after all her glamorous styles lately, she was embarrassed to be seen without them? Haha!

What a wonderful way to play with your art :)
