Paper Saturdays link up time and the 29Face Challenge.

Good morning to you all. Welcome to both the Paper Saturday people and the people from the 29Face Challenge. I hope you will join us and link your art work at the bottom of this post. For the people who are not familiar with Paper Saturdays we run a weekly challenge here for people who love to create with paper but of course we love to see drawings and paintings too so go ahead and link your art at the bottom of this post and then link your post back to Paper Saturdays so other artist can find us too.

Face 6

Face 7

I have not created much paper art lately but drawings have been plentiful and thanks to the 29 Face Challenge I have now got lots of new fun ideas but that will have to wait until the end of the month. I had set out to draw only Manga faces at the beginning of this month but this has proved a little difficult because I have misplaced some of my fine liners. Anyway for now I am working with graphite and a tiny bit of colour and it feels wonderful so losing my fine liners may be a blessing in disguise.

Hello Manon and all Paper Artists,

Have fun, everyone!

Happy Paper Saturday, Manon! These two drawings are so precious. The eyes of the first girl are sweetly expressive and the softness of the graphite is very pretty. Happy to see your lovely faces, both manga and classical Manon style...and of course, happy to participate in Paper Saturdays. :)

The sweet girl in Face No 6 looks so sad, so I am glad to see that No 7 is looking cheerful. She must be feeling a lot better.
Both are lovely soft drawings with the graphite pencils and the touches of colour. Beautiful.

I really like face 6 - it's beautiful and so expressive with just a little color...

I must admit I like your "normal" faces better than the manga-style ones. You have such a unique style, while manga is more "common", if you know what I mean ... ;-)

I just love this that first sweet face Manon. Don't you love how color mingles with graphite?

Happy weekend to you!
