It is not often that I let people see what is in my sketchbook. Perhaps because those little drawings feel so personal and haven't had the time to develop yet but you know what I love seeing what other people get up to behind closed doors so why not show you what I do when you are not watching.

Paper Saturdays link up time and the 29Face Challenge.

Good morning to you all. Welcome to both the Paper Saturday people and the people from the 29Face Challenge. I hope you will join us and link your art work at the bottom of this post. I have not created much paper art lately but drawings have been plentiful and thanks to the 29 Face Challenge I have now got lots of new fun ideas but that will have to wait until the end of the month. I had set out to draw only Manga faces at the beginning of this month but this has proved a little difficult because I have misplaced some of my fine liners. Anyway for now I am working with graphite and a tiny bit of colour and it feels wonderful so losing my fine liners may be a blessing in disguise.

Gosh what can I say I am running behind with the 29 Face Challenge but at least I feel loads better.

Face 4 for the 29Face Challenge.

Another day with another Manga face. I am not sure if you can really call this Manga style but it is my Manga style. I am concentrating on the eyes and hair. I don't say this often but I failed miserably getting a decent drawing on the table. It really reflects how I feel right now. Maybe beter things will come tomorrow and my drawings will improve. This young lady doesn't like being sick.

Face number 3 or the 29Face Challenge

Another little Manga face and I still don't feel a hundred percent. I am glad I am doing something simple and that I not had chosen paint as a medium. At least I know my colour pencils well and I can take them to the sofa or my bed.

Good morning to you all. Today I am combining our weekly challenge Paper Saturdays with the 29Face Challenge. If you love creating faces this might be something for you too, a face a day for 29 days. I am really looking forward to meeting new fellow artists. This year I will be concentrating on Manga eyes, starting with the normal looking eyes.

Big give away and the 29 face Challenge

Oh my goodness here we go again, creating 29 Faces with Ayala Art. This Challenge is the best. I hope you will play too. All you need to do is create 29 human faces using a medium you don't normally use in the month September. I myself am going to concentrate on ink and collage and to make it more exciting for you each week on Monday I will give away my weeks drawings to someone who mentions the word yes in their comment on my blog.
